Status of discount processing from A-Z

The process of processing a discount campaign will include statuses such as Pending, Discounting, Discounted, Returning and Finished.

Each status of a discount campaign will reflect the stage of the discount implementation process. In particular, each status of a discount campaign will have specific actions for each status.

The process of a discount campaign: Set up discount - Discount - Return to original price - Finished.

1. Pending Status

A discount campaign in Pending status means that the discount campaign is waiting for the time you set to start the discount. In this Pending status, you can customize any element in the campaign creation section.

You can find a discount campaign through the Pending label in the overview list or go to the Pending section to see details.

2. Discounting status 

A discount campaign in Discounting status means that the discount campaign has started when the installation time has come. 

You cannot edit any information in a discount campaign if it is in Discounting status. This is to ensure that the discount process of a discount campaign is stable and there are no sudden changes.

The reason is that our application will automatically discount the selected products one by one with a specific discount. Therefore, you cannot interfere with the automatic processing in our system. You can only view detailed information and quantity of discounted products in the Discount summary section.

3. Discounted status 

A discount campaign with the status Discounted means that the discount campaign has been completed. The products in the list have been discounted according to the previous settings. The time it takes for a discount campaign to go from Discounting to Discounted will depend on the number of products and their variants. 

At the same time, the network speed is also a factor that affects the discount time. If you discount a large number of products, please wait for the discount process to take place. Our application will automatically run the discount and return according to the time you set, so you do not need to control this process.

4. Returning status 

A discount campaign in Returning status means that it is in the process of returning to its original or starting price for that discount campaign.

You also cannot take any action while this is happening. The time it takes for a discount campaign to return to its original price also depends on the number of products and your network speed.

5. Finished status 

A discount campaign that is in Finished status means that it has completed the entire discount process including discounting and returning to the original price. The campaign has returned to the original price according to the time you previously set.
